Our Purpose

Our Purpose is to provide a warm, caring atmosphere in which to help change the health of as many people as humanly possible to a level of optimal function. We understand our primary service is chiropractic health care for the restoration and maintenance of function, as it particularly relates to the neuromusculoskeletal system. We will focus not only in the provision of our own procedures, but communicate aspects of your treatment to your personal medical physician or specialist for cooperative health care. We frequently refer those cases we cannot help to other medical specialists, to include orthopedists, neurologists and neurosurgeons, podiatrists, and other health care providers.

Dr. Gregory K. Tilley, D.C.


Dr. Greg Tilley, native to Blacksburg, graduated from Blacksburg high School in 1988. Upon completing his undergraduate degree at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA, he went on to graduate from Life University School of Chiropractic in Marietta, Georgia in 1997. He and his wife Jennie, sing Southern Gospel music (see Concert News and Greg and Jennie audio CD page) and are blessed to homeschool their 3 kids.

In 2012, Dr. Tilley celebrated his 15th year of practice here in Blacksburg and his 14th year on staff at Virginia Tech Sports Medicine Department. As the Team Chiropractic Physician, Dr. Tilley cares for the Hokie athletes in ALL of the Division I, NCAA sports offered at VT. Dr. Tilley has served as a volunteer for the past 9 years with the Blacksburg High School Football program, working both home and away games.

As former Assistant Director of the Sports Medicine Department at Liberty University, Dr. Tilley comes from an extensive background in Sports Medicine and health care knowledge. His mission, "to give, to do, to love and to serve," has been his theme over the years as he has cared for thousands of patients.

Lonna Burton

Clinic Director

Lonna Burton has been Clinic Director since August 2006. Lonna has a BS degree in Elementary Education from Bluefield College and a Master's of Instruction from UVA. Years in education and school administration have proven to be great preparation for helping to keep the Tilley Chiropractic office running smoothly.
